Yes, it's true, a wood burning stove, so instead of using electricity for those 3 to 4 hour recipes on the stove in the house, we can cook it on this!
Look, I got my wife a new stove today.

I guess the jokes on me.
I tease my friends up North about snow and cold. This is our temp this morning and remember, we don't have heaters in our homes. My little toes are cold, LOL. Ministering to the leaders and future leaders at La Red Ministerios.
We have a mission and vision to complete as one unified body of believers in Jesus Christ. Starting the day out right: Prayer; Jesus (the Word); and eating healthy! Now, off to preach the Word of the Lord. Glory!
To all my Alabama friends and fans, I guess the Roll Tide rolls up here in the mountains of Honduras! This little guy is soooooo cute. His name is Kenchito.
Awesome work day in Mecatales, Honduras. We poured a concrete floor at the church. The Pastor is super excited. We appreciate everyone that has been a part of this. Our next project is the concrete floor in the Sompopero church and start building the church in San Rafael. Here is something in life I love.
This is my hammock slash swing. You will find me here in the mornings swinging back and forth praying and reading. Or when I just need to talk to my heavenly Father. Then, there are times, I will feel the pull of the Lord, asking me to come out and meet with Him for solitude and conversation. I've had some amazing insights revealed to me from the Lord out here. It's a precious place to me. Life in Honduras
Had to go to San Pedro to apply for new passport. On the way back we wanted to stop at the new Cafe Welchez, about 40 minutes from Copan Ruinas. The transmission started acting up. We kept going, trying to get home. Well, look where the truck finally gave up. Right in front of Cafe Welchez! Waiting for a tow. Pray for wisdom, direction, and the means for the repair. I am SUPER proud of my wife! Duplication of children's ministers was burning in my heart. I mentioned this to her and she is ruuuuunnnninnng full steam ahead.
The vision is burning passionately in her. Our goal is for every community ministry we work with, there will be a children's ministry. We are equipping the Hondurans with ministry to impact THEIR communities for Jesus Christ! Glory! This is the pastor in Barbasco; he is one firecracker! God sent me to some amazing people to be a part of. I love my life here in Honduras!
