MorningStar Missions is Reaching - Touching and Changing the lives in the mountains around Copan Ruinas, BUT NOT without the help of other ministries! Thank you to Laymen for Christ and Faith Church!
Incredible time with this team. We knocked it out of the park in building a school for a community in the mountains. Laymen for Christ brought a group from Faith Church! What a blessing to have them here!
What an honor to stand with the two teachers and some of the school kids. They are so excited about their new school! Next week, we will be putting the order in for the furniture! God is so awesome! Thank you to all that has made this project possible!
Moving the wood up to the school. Getting ready for the team next week from Alabama! Laymen for Christ and Faith Church. Going to build a school for the community
Finished product of the carpets that are handmade here in Copan Ruinas for Holy Week. Made from dyed sawdust. Last photo, people are gathered in the park for the reading of scripture and re-enactment of Jesus' crucifixion. Doing the annual Easter carpets here in Copan Ruinas. They make these out of saw dust that has been dyed different colors.
We as Christians already have the victory in Christ!. The power of God dwells within us! We have the mind of Christ! We have been blessed with ALL heavenly spiritual blessings! The Holy Spirit is our comforter and guide. Stop begging God for something we already have!! Start praising Him for it (healing, financial provisions, peace, joy, and so much more!) We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! WOW! Somebody shout!
Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras Love Honduras in so many ways. These are bus drivers praying over their route that day! Very touching in so many ways! This is a nation that is NOT ashamed of Jesus Christ!
Feels awesome when you get something repaired on your truck in the mission field. Lack of parts and many other issues that come against you when you live in a 7k population town that is 3 hours from a major city that has some of the parts you need and that's a big maybe!! LOL Also, thanks to my Pastor, Jimmy Squires, for bringing my tools down that enabled me to make the repairs!
Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras As gross darkness continues to cover the earth, stay true to Him that saved you. At all cost, avoid what this world has to offer. By doing so, you will stay within the Lord's refuge. You will see those fall to the left and right, but you will stay strong with His glorious power and might. The light of Christ that you emit will be a beacon of hope to those that are in despair.
Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras I'm in a government office (immigration) in Honduras. Christian music playing and scriptures on the wall.
When we make foolish decisions today, it opens the door for unwanted drama tomorrow. The storm you are in today might be because of your decisions of yesterday. As Peter cried out to the Lord to save him, cry out to Jesus today to save you. The Holy Spirit will lead you out, but it may require pain, swallowing pride, and obedience to get you to calmer seas.
Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras Alexis did an incredible tonight with the kids! She taught on overcoming fear by teaching on "Daniel and the Lion's Den." The best way to victory is forgetting the past and not allowing others to define you. Make the Word of God the very core of your life! Keep your eyes fixed and focused on Jesus Christ. Pursue an intimate daily relationship with the Lord. Allow the Holy Spirit to led and guide you throughout life.
