Shawn Paul
Missionary to Honduras
When you find yourself going down the wrong road, the wise thing to do is ask yourself why you made the wrong turn. Many want to put the blame somewhere else and never look at themselves for their failures.
Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras Nancy worked super hard for our last 3 groups from the US. I treated her to a special night at a hotel in San Pedro. They had her super fluffy bed that she loves. It was so cute seeing her this morning; sleeping like an angel. This was our view. The night was wonderful as well!
Yes, real coffee makes me excited! When you live in coffee country deliciousness is available all the time!
What an amazing time we had serving together. We got so much done! Ministering to the hearts and lives of the people in the surrounding communities. Then completing the school in Old San Isidro. The failure in completing God's task for our lives is not acceptable to Him. We can't afford to be passive, but we must be passionate. In doing so, we will see ourselves make strides in areas that we never thought was possible!
Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras Chepe and I working on his garden. He is planting cucumbers, radishes, cilantro, and some other goodies!
Fun in the rain. After months of no rain, we now have rain daily and downpours. LOVING IT! Next project (aquaponics system) for a local children's home. We also will be building a chicken coop, developing black soldier fly larvae (chicken and fish food), vermiculture (worm development), permaculture (enriched soil garden through composting and wood chips), and planting moringa trees (to make super nutritionist powder to put in various foods). CAN'T WAIT!!
Mission work is a collective work from ALL who are laboring physically on or off the mission field, those that are giving financial support, and others praying for God's hand to move upon the work. You can make a direct impact wherever you are, but the key is to do something AND YOUR PART that God has challenged you to do! |
