So refreshing to redefine the word, "WEALTH." I think America has dumbed it down and made it all about money. Honestly, I think that's the smallest portion of the definition. Today, I sit in Honduras full of life in my spirit due to the Lord Jesus Christ in my life. I may not have many worldly possessions, but I am one of the riches men on the earth!

We recently had a great time visiting family and friends in the states. What especially highlighted our trip was visiting our daughter and her family.
This has been a great project to be involved with. Fully funded through Faith Church and Laymen for Christ. A single mother now has a place for her two boys and herself. This is a traditional adobe block construction in the mountains of Honduras.
Here is a project that we are currently working on through Faith Church as well. They are in the process of tearing down the existing home but rebuilding adobe walls in place. The funding provided, we were able to hire labor to help make the adobe block and to lay them. Stay tune, soon they will soon have a new home in place.
Amazing tradition here in Copan Ruinas. We look forward to this yearly. The talents of many come together during "Holy Week." They craft these works of arts out of colored saw dust. What do you think of these beauties?!?
This is how they take care of babies in the mountains. The babies love this! It's like they are still in the womb. Occasionally, someone will come by and gently swing it. Who says you need all the high tech stuff!?! |
