It's always a great pleasure having the SMTI team come visit. Thank you to Dr. Barclay and Pastor Kenny Gatlin for sending us such awesome people of God. This year, the team helped Pastor Favio A. Mayorga start building a new church in San Rafael, Honduras. It's always a pleasure to connect the team with the local kids. Here, they had the joy of working with the local school in San Rafael to share with them about Jesus! Here is a photo of some of the most amazing people you will ever meet; missionaries from Honduras. Nancy and I had a great pleasure to be a part of the missionary conference here in Honduras through HFMM (Honduran Fellowship of Missionaries and Ministries). Not only did we get a chance to bond with other missionaries, but it allowed us to find new ideas on how to advance our vision for our own ministry. My hat is off to John and Adriana Mattica. They are the leaders and founders of HFMM. They have done an amazing job in joining such a great team for Honduras.  Pretty tough day for our community. We laid to rest a wonderful man of God and my friend, Jose Merary Miranda. He was one of the pastors I worked with on a continual basis. I will miss him greatly. Please pray for his family. As you can see from the photos, he was loved greatly by many. It was a sea of people walking the streets along with his casket. I was standing by a friend during the funeral, he was telling me a story how Meraya was helping him during a time in his life. He loved people and would do anything for you. Such a tragic loss. |
