​Great things are happening here in Honduras. We are seeing the economy open up. It has a long way to go, but we are heading in the right direction. More and more people are going back to work. In Copan Ruinas, we rely heavily on the tourism business. The government just announced that they will permit non-citizen/residents (tourists) to enter Honduras via air travel. I just spoke with a hotel owner and they are going through classes to open up their hotels. She said that they believe by October the hotels should be open again to receive tourist.

Nancy and I are still performing ministry as best as we can. We miss connecting with our pastors and church leaders. Radio and other means are nice, but there is nothing like one-on-one contact. You don’t realize how much you miss something unless it has been taken away from you.

We are continuing in our feeding program for hungry families. As said before, our community relies on tourism. Many are not back to work because hotels and restaurants are still closed. So, with that, we will continue identifying families that need food and help them as much as possible.
