MorningStar Missions in the NEWS!!! Check out a newspaper article publish 10/07/13. CLICK HERE Shawn Paul, his wife, Nancy, and their daughter Alexis, 19, are leaving behind almost everything Oct. 30 and moving to Copàn Ruinas, Honduras, to start a ministry. “Our clothes, computers, camera equipment and that’s about it,” Paul said of their packing plans. They’ve had garage sales. Their home, a yellow house with flower boxes in the windows, is for rent. Cars soon will be sold. “Our whole work will be focused on the deep rural areas of Honduras,” Paul said. “That’s where the need is. Predominately, no one is going deep into the mountains.” Copàn Ruinas is a tourist town famous for Mayan ruins and is a safe community, Paul said. Other areas of Honduras are infamous for drug trafficking, homicide and corruption. For the first few weeks, the family will stay with a friend while they sort through government requirements and arrange long-term housing. Then, they start working with La Cosecha (The Harvest), a church in Copàn Ruinas. Nancy and Alexis will have roles at the church’s school. It breaks our heart that our beloved dog of 9 years had to go with my wife's mother today in Iowa. We say in a loving way, he had to go to the old folks home. The good thing is, he dearly loves my mother-in-law. She is very special to him. While she was here in Kentucky visiting us, he was right by her side. It was like he already knew what was going on. Many probably wonder why we didn't attempt to take him with us to Honduras. Pico is a very different type of dog. He does not do well with change. That being said, we felt the best would be for him to live with her. Our hearts are broken, but we know in the long run, it is best for all and God is a rewarder of those that put him first. Shawn Paul Missionary to Honduras To solve 6÷2(1+2) you’ll first need to solve for the parenthesis: (1+2)=3 Then solve left to right 6÷2(3), which can also be written, 6÷2×3, or 6/2(3). First solve for 6÷2=3 Next multiply 3×3=9. The answer is 9. Hooray math! Watch the YouTube video, "PACKING OUR BAGS!!" LOOK RIGHT-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->>>>> Counting down the days!! Can you imagine!! For 5 years Honduras has been in my heart. Just like the day I knew I was going to marry my wife, I knew that I knew. No one could convince me. The same here, no one could convince me for 5 years that God was calling my family and I to Honduras. So, instead of counting down from 1,825 days, it's only 29!!
