An incredible book on missions. The need to bring the church and missions back together. Missions should never be a side hustle of the church. It's the very fabric of the church. So many churches are inward-focused and only outward-focused for their benefit, to grow the local church. The Sea of Galilee is an example of a church that is mission-minded. For example, Advance Global Coaching is a life coaching organization specifically designed for missionaries. Often, missionaries are fearful of reaching out because they feel that they will be pulled from the field or the financial support will stop if they voice what they are going through. I am not suggesting that they take the place of your pastor, and they shouldn't, but it can be another avenue for some to get help and guidance when needed.
