This is teamwork at its best! Katia and Ever helping Nancy prepare for her training class for the children's ministers in the mountains. Here is one of our original members in the church at La Laguna. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us! He passed on about 6 months ago.  Another great week of Super Natural Training Institute (SMTI). These pastors and ministers of the gospel are like sponges; soaking up every word spoken! Much gratitude goes out to Dr. Mark Barclay for such a life transforming biblical program! This was my church today! Some desire to preach in the big churches; nothing wrong with that! Find me a remote place with hungry hearts and I'm at home! This is a community in the mountains of Guatemala! These are some of the most precious people you will ever meet! Believe or not, this guy is making a bed. They use a wooden frame with very tight strings. Then will either pile blankets on top of it or get a thin foam pad. Not exactly a Sealy or Serta mattress, but it works for them.  These ladies sit along the street; day after day, selling their goods. As you can see, they start at a very young age. Also, majority will come from the small mountain communities surrounding Copan Ruinas.  Progress on our church building in the community of Chilar. We are almost done! It's funny taking pictures of the folks in the mountain communities. They are super shy of the camera; example, the two ladies. The little boy was my helper with the tape measure; he was so proud! We got some little ones watching every move we make!  Great times with the love of my life! We visited a very special spot here in July Copan Ruinas, The Tea & Chocolate Place / El Lugar del Té & Chocolate; wonderful organic drinks and food. Then off to the park where they had music and vendors for snacks and crafts. No, they are not ZOMBIES! ???? BUT close to it! ???? It's the World Cup for soccer. It's not uncommon for stores to have TV'S so people can watch the soccer game. You will see crowds of mostly men standing at the entry of stores.  |
