What Do I See, Why Don’t I See

Do I see black, brown, white, or Yellow

No, I do not see

It troubles me greatly many try to see

For there is no reason to see

We are people, not to be divided

We are people to be united as one

God’s children that we are

Our heavenly Father doesn’t choose

He doesn’t choose to see color

He only sees lost or saved

I say stop the nonsense by dividing

I am not your enemy, but your brother

There is division that some speak of

Yes, I agree, but there is only a greater divide now

Whatever happened to the Dream

The Dream of no division, but only being united

It was taken hostage by those that divide

Those that do it for profit

Don't allow the ignorance of others to divide

Stand up and unite together

This is my rule for all those around me

Don’t tell me the latest joke or point out the color

You are to uplift and tell me why we are one

You are to glorify the Father with the words you speak

What can we do in Christ Jesus together

Where can we go as one to change the hearts of others

Today must be the day we all choose to change

Today must be the day we all unite

I don’t see color

I don’t want to see color

I have no reason to see color

What do I see, lost or saved in Jesus

Why don't I see color, because my Heavenly Father doesn't see
