Sadly, the medical system has broken down in many ways. I just had a conversation with my doctor friend in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. He said the conditions in the hospitals are horrific. See attached photos and video. It breaks my heart to see what people are going through to get any medical care. I know the government is trying to build out medical centers to take care of those that have lesser conditions. This will in return relieve the pressure on the hospitals for more major cases.
The other photos (7/15/2020 blog post) are some of our feeding that we are doing in the communities. Next week, we will be feeding our 17 pastor and leader families.
Thank you to everyone that is supporting our work in Honduras. Many blessings to you all. Please remember, even though things seem to be getting better in the USA, Honduras is still dealing with a major ripple effect. Blessings!
