Coming Together to Bless the People

Recently, I was so blessed to get the chance to work with two great ministries doing the work of the Lord. I will forever cherish the memories with both of them and can't wait to make more in the future.

With the first group it was amazing to see the men give their entire strength, endurance, and ALL their sweat to fulfill what God had planned for building the La Laguna church. They did a great job building the first Christian church in the mountains so people can now join as one in the same place to worship God. While the men were working hard, so were the women. They were sharing the love of Jesus to many little kids through the VBS program and with the love in their heart. Also, they blessed the people of that area with whatever medication needed for each person. In this time period I was concluding the final days of my school year, so I did not get to spend as much time with the first group as I got to with the second.  TO READ MORE, click below to the right.

When I climbed the mountains of La Laguna with some people of the second group I really got to see the heart they had for these Honduran people. It was amazing to feel the anointing and strength in the prayers when they prayed for every woman, man, and child in sight. Hondurans are so different from Americans because they are so willing to receive prayer, even when it's from people they have never seen before. I love watching how interactive this group was with kids in the mountains and in the community of Copan Ruinas.  They threw a party for the children of the community and for the students of ABBA Bilingual, where I am a teacher at.  During the party they did dramas, sing, and played with the kids.  I loved watching the funny, but very powerful dramas they prepared for the kids. I also love seeing my students happy and that's exactly what this group brought to the kids, happiness!

Both of these groups brought love, happiness, and the word of God to these communities and I am so thankful to have been a part of it. Now, I am waiting for my beautiful pastor, Pastor Marty, people from my church and Michigan to come this week.
