Nancy and I are doing well. We got many things in place before the national quarantine took place. At this time, we can’t leave our homes unless we go to the local market for food or essential reasons (delivering food, medical, etc.). Other than that, we can’t be out on the streets.
Something we didn’t cover in the video is the Honduran people themselves. Honduras is a society with very few safety nets in a time of national crisis. Since many are out of work or can’t open their businesses, some are going without. Obviously, this is a global issue as well.
Finally, we are continuing with all other aspects of the ministry as much as we can. We feel once no more cases of COVID-19 develop in Honduras, we will see an ease in the national quarantine, all the while keeping the borders and airports closed to the outside world. This will permit us to serve the people in our communities on a greater level after freedom of movement is restored.
As always, we appreciate everyone’s prayers, emails, messages, and support.
