Honduras as a whole is struggling because of the lockdown. This nation lives moment by moment. Most people have to work each day to feed themselves and their family. Stories are coming out each day of great suffering. We praise God for those that are stepping up as much as possible to make a difference in their communities. We have seen some missionaries go to great lengths in reaching those in great despair.
I find it touching that God is giving us opportunities to connect with various people. One, for example, is our neighbors, an older couple, we have lived next to each other for about 4 years. They have always been such wonderful people, having our little conversations in passing. Well, we found out that their income is derived off of their family in the USA. They have since then lost their job. So, they were facing great oppositions. I will never forget, God dropped directly in my heart, this is a family you will help consistently throughout the pandemic. They can’t even believe it when we are dropping off groceries to their home. We tell them, God funnels money to us and we filter it out to the community. What a blessing!
Thank you to everyone for reaching out to Honduras through MorningStar Missions.
